It’s not the first time that UP Government is trying to ban plastics across the state before this in November 2015, Allahabad High Court has directed the state to issue notification regarding the complete ban of plastic in the state. After that UP Government decided to ban plastics in the state and finally implemented this order in January 2016. But it could not be fully implemented.
The government again tried to ban plastics in 2017 but the officials were unable to stop the circulation of plastics in the state.
