Top 30 engineering colleges in India for 2018

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has declared the India rankings 2018 of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has been accepted by the MHRD and launched by Honourable Minister for Human Resource development on 29th September 2015. This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country.The rankings have been announced by Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday, April 3. IITs ruled the Engineering Rankings this year too. Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar, while declaring the rankings at an occasion in the Vigyan Bhavan, said the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) has been adjudged the best engineering college.IIT Madras took the top position among engineering institutes in the 2016 and 2017 NIRF rankings as well.Anna University has also made a place in top 10 apart from IITs.
